Amanda Ford

I am a qualified nurse, midwife, and health visitor, and a previous lead inspector and investigator. More recently, I have taken early retirement and redundancy from the Devon Integrated Care Board (ICB), where I was working as a senior nurse overseeing Devon’s NHS commissioned services—assessing and scrutinising patient safety and quality, infection prevention and control, and clinical governance.

I live in the local area, have three grown-up children, and am married to a senior hospital consultant. I have a broad breadth of experience in the NHS across many specialities, and I look forward to enhancing and sharing this knowledge to support the Trust Board as a trustee, contributing to the valuable, essential work Seachange does in the community.
